Paul Thomas Sancerre Rouge Chavignol 2019
A bouquet of ripe red fruit on the nose with a well rounded palate of light tannins and earthy notes typical of Pinot Noir.
What we say
This juicy, fruity wine shows intense aromas of raspberry and cherry on the nose that develop further on the palate. Soft tannins, crisp yet balanced acidity and masses of ripe red berry flavours. A red wine that can be chilled or enjoyed with a picnic and a bit of pâté or charcuterie. Or the perfect pairing to duck breast for dinner.
What they say
Our Sancerre Red has a nose of blackcurrant and a palate of ripe red fruit (cherry and cherry stone). There’s a pleasant balance struck between the tannins and the roundness on the finish.
