What we say

Gewurztraminer as a grape variety is known for its recognisable character of tropical fruit mixed with lifting floral notes and hints of spice, even ginger. This is Alsace Gewurz at its absolute best: round and rich but balanced by a lovely freshness. Pair with Asian food, one of the only wines that can hold up to spicy dishes.

What they say

Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Pferisgberg immediately offers loads of pure fruit and flower aromas, mixing mango, ripe peach, bergamot, praline, rose petal and a little hint of fresh ginger. The wine is highly concentrated and sensual on the plate, with a rich yet fresh body. Elegance and finesse are the main characteristics of this Pfersigberg. The finish has a real Grand Cru dimension, mixing fruity aromas and a deep mineral print. Food pairing: Aperitifs, desserts made with exotic fruits, blue cheese, macarons and also thaï spicy food.
