Marillier Macon Les Crays 2020
The quintessential Chardonnay from southern Burgundy.
What we say
This wine takes you on a stroll through a summer meadow. Floral notes on the nose are followed by lemon, apple and a cosy vivacity on the palate. No need to food match if you don’t feel like it – you can just crack open the bottle and enjoy it for what it is.
What they say
Tasting notes from the sommelier of this Cuvée les Crays: On the nose: A very flattering nose with aromas of white flowers, verbena and citrus fruits. Taste: On the palate, we discover a fresh wine, well balanced between roundness and acidity, all in a very floral style. Which dish should you pair this white Burgundy wine with? This white wine, the AOP Mâcon appellation, will be perfect for your aperitifs. But also to accompany fish, poultry and veal. You can enjoy it on creamy chicken cutlets or scallop skewers.
