What we say

This is a playful wine to be drunk young when the fresh, crunchy red fruit is at its best. This wine will go beautifully with charcuterie, pork, chunkier salads, poultry and even some meatier fish like salmon or monkfish.

What they say

Beautiful ruby in colour, subtle berry aroma. An elegant and ample palate that leaves a good, persistent taste.

About the producer Manoir du Carra

Located in the small town of Denice, between Mâcon-sur-Saone and Lyon, Manoir du Carra dates back to 1850 and has passed on from father to son for five generations. Now owned by Jean-Noël Sambardier and his wife, who run the vineyards alongside their sons, the 30 hectares of vineyards sit on the north-south axis between Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages.
