Magnum Château Bernateau St Emilion 2016
A velvety Grand Cru. Expressive on the nose with complex earthy notes combined with vanilla and plum flavours. Balanced and silky on the palate.
AOP Saint-Emilion grand cru
Cabernet Franc, Merlot
What we say
Dark, rich wine with lots of plummy black fruit flavour, typical of this appellation. Balanced by tantalising acidity and freshness giving the wine a lovely well-rounded character.
What they say
A hue of dark purple and a delicate nose with black fruits, black pepper and tobacco. On the palate, there is a nice freshness on the attack and a very nice volume with a lingering finish and a great minerality : a stylish wine.
