Domaine Davanture Mercurey 2017
Elegant Pinot Noir from Burgundy, showing notes of forest fruit and smokiness on the nose and palate.
What we say
It is a touch softer and rounder on the palate than many Pinot Noirs with a deeper colour. On the nose and palate, look for notes of ripe cherries and other red fruits alongside toasted coffee hints. This wine goes well with roasted meats like beef and braised lamb or even mature cheeses.
What they say
A fruity nose with notes of liquorice with red fruits on the palate with hints of roasting.
