What we say
The balance between letting a wine run wild and too much interference has been perfectly struck in this pretty right-bank Bordeaux. The rich fruit has been tamed with careful meticulous grape selection and oak ageing. The result is a great expression of both the land and the people that farm it.
What they say
Château Perron is a beautiful garnet-red hue with deep purple tints. The nose delivers a powerful, rich bouquet covering a broad aromatic array of red fruit, cinnamon, coffee and liquorice; a Lalande of fine complexity. The palate offers an impression of harmony, roundness and suppleness over a velvety tannin base. A subtle wine, full of finesse; it will gain even greater complexity after a few years’ ageing in the bottle – for your delectation and delight. To drink from 2017. Cellaring potential: 5 – 10 years.
