Château Lacombe Noaillac 2016
Classic Left Bank Bordeaux blend (Cabernet Sauvignon plays the main role) from the famous Medoc area. Old school and very classy.
Cabernet Sauvignon, Carbernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot
What we say
Fairly deep garnet-red in colour, this wine has hints of ripe dark fruits and a floral note on the nose. It has an elegant, savoury, aromatic palate with silky tannins – fresh and firm with a lingering finish. This wine goes perfectly with a roast or grilled red meats and vegetables.
What they say
A full-bodied, easy-to-drink wine in true Médoc style. A supple, mid-range tannic structure. The Merlot is dominant, giving berry aromas, and ageing has highlighted smoky, sootys scents. Barrel ageing has given the wine volume and roundness.
