Château Beaucastel Blanc 2019
Sensually aromatic fruit with sweet nutty undertones. Delicious now but will keep for a few years and continue to gain complexity.
What we say
Château de Beaucastel is a huge name in the Rhone Valley and not without good reason. The white wines of Beaucastel constantly tease your senses pulling them in all directions with floral, honeyed and mature notes all abundant on the nose. You would be forgiven for expecting sweetness in the mouth but instead you get a rich warmth and powerful stone-fruit undertone. This is a really exciting wine.
What they say
On the nose, this wine reveals hints of candied ginger and grapefruit zest. Ample and complex on the palate, it develops aromas of apricot and mango before a long lingering finish enhanced by a delicate bitterness.
