Castellare di Castellini Chianti Classico 2017
A sophisticated well structured Chianti Classico for a discerning palate
DOCG Chianti Classico
Sangiovese – Canaiolo
What we say
A traditional Chianti Classico with only indigenous grape varieties Sangiovese and Canaiolo in the blend. Notes of cherry, liquorice and wild herbs on the nose are followed by red fruit characters and a fresh acidity on the palate. The tannins are soft but well structured and it has a long elegant finish. This wine will be great savoured with hard aged cheeses, guinea fowl and pheasant.
What they say
A versatile wine that matches well with structured and important dishes and medium-aged cheeses.
